2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid Breaks Efficiency Records
Toyota has unveiled the 2026 Camry Hybrid, claiming a combined fuel consumption figure of just 3.8L/100km. The new powertrain pairs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with an updated electric motor, delivering 160kW of combined output.
The eighth-generation Camry also receives a complete interior overhaul, with a 12.3-inch infotainment display running Toyota’s latest software platform. Australian pricing starts at $42,990 for the Ascent Sport, with deliveries expected from July.
Safety equipment includes the latest Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 suite, which adds intersection collision avoidance and improved pedestrian detection in low-light conditions.
