Kia’s upcoming EV4 compact electric sedan has been spotted testing on roads near Melbourne, suggesting an Australian launch is closer than expected.

The EV4, which sits below the EV6 in Kia’s electric lineup, is expected to offer a 58kWh battery with around 400km of range, targeting the $50,000-$60,000 price bracket.

Sources suggest the EV4 will be offered in both sedan and crossover body styles when it arrives in Australian showrooms in early 2027.
